Fortnite 3rd Birthday is right around the corner. That means new challenges and also new rewards.
Every year we get a Fortnite Birthday event in Battle Royale containing challenges and birthday rewards. This year will also not be different because Fortnite’s birthday challenges and rewards have already been leaked. The original Fortnite STW was released on July 24th so many people thought this year’s birthday challenges would come out in July.
But Epic has apparently decided to follow Fortnite Battle Royale release day as it’s Birthday. Fortnite Battle Royale was first released as free to play back on September 26, 2017. So it makes sense for the Birthday event in Battle Royale to come out on September 26th. The challenges and rewards for the upcoming Birthday event has been leaked.

Fortnite 3rd Birthday Challenges
Thanks to HYPEX on Twitter we can know what the 3rd Birthday challenges are ahead of time. The Birthday challenges are-
- Play Matches- 10
- Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes- 10
- Outlast Opponents- 500
- Gain health and shield from Birthday Cake- 50
- Play matches- 10
- Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes- 10
- Outlast Opponents- 500
- Gain health and shield from Birthday Cake- 50
Completing each of these challenges will reward players. If you complete any 4 challenges then you can get the Fortnite 3rd Birthday Backbling.
There is apparently a free emote that can be unlocked as part of the Fortnite 3rd Birthday event.
