xQc banned:

Just moments ago xQc’s Twitch account was banned from Twitch. A bot called StreamerBans published the news of the ban.

Reason for the Ban:

Recently xQc was under a lot of fire following the Fall Guys Twitch Rivals Event stream sniping incident. He was accused of stream sniping DrLupo during the Twitch Rivals Fall Guys event. He intentionally held onto DrLupo to ensure that his teammate would qualify during the final match in the Fall Guys Twitch Rivals event to secure third place.

Streamers like Shroud and Tyler1 came forward to voice their frustration after the incident and said that they had lost all respect for xQc following the stream sniping incident.

Twitch Rivals stated in a formal announcement that xQc has been issued a ban. They said,

“At GlitchCon our player conduct rules were violated. We require all participants to abide by the same rules in order to play in a tournament. As a result, xQc has been issued a temporary Twitch account suspension, a temporary Twitch Rivals ban & forfeited associated prize money.”

xQc has received a 6-month ban from future Twitch Rivals events. He also has to forfeit any prize money earned from the event. His Twitch account however was temporarily suspended.
