VALORANT Agent Killjoy has recently been leaked with a video showing all of her abilities.
VALORANT new agent Killjoy has been leaked a few days back. We first got to see Killjoy’s silhouette in the map split. We saw her outline in a shoe store on the map. Recently a video has surfaced that shows off all of her abilities.
Killjoy is going to be the 12th agent in the game. VALORANT devs discussed previously that they intend to bring out six agents per year. Some people think this number is too high while others think instead of focusing more on agents Riot should focus more on bringing new maps.
In a video posted on Twitter, we can see new VALORANT agent Killjoy and her abilities. here I will be discussing her abilities a bit.
Her first ability is called Alarmbot. hearing the name Alarmbot, the closest thing that comes to mind is Cypher’s Tripwire. In the video, we can see Killjoy equip a small bot that she throws on the ground. After a brief arming period the bot turns invisible. When the enemy sage enters the are of the bot it triggers and pops a message on the screen saying alarm triggered. From the video, it also seems like it slows anyone who triggers the bot.
The ability description in the video reads,”Equip and deploy a bot that hunts down enemies who dare to get in range. When my killer robot friend reaches it’s target, boom goes the idiot”
The next ability is Turret. Killjoy equips a small turret and throws it on the ground. The turret takes a small amount of time to arm itself. When enemies get into the range of the turret it fires in short burst and applies damage slow similar to gun damage. The damage from the turret seems to be similar to classic shots. The slow is what will help Killjoy get kills from the turrets it seems. She can also call back the turret similar to Cypher’s camera it seems.
The ability description in the video reads,”Sometimes it’s good to plant some roots. Deploy a turret that fires at enemies within it’s 180 degree cone. Hold equip to recall the deployed turret “
Killjoy’s Nanoswarm looks similar to Brimstone’s molly. She equips the Nanoswarm and throws it on the ground. After a short delay, a swarm starts to rotate within the range of the ability and damages anyone standing inside.
The ability description reads,”Throw the grenade, when it lands, it goes quiet. Then activate the Nanoswarm to deploy a damaging swarm of nanobots and catch the enemy crying. I love this trick!”
Her Ultimate ability is called Lockdown. She puts down a rotating pylon and after some time the pylon shatters and slows anybody inside a large area. After some time the enemies affected by the slow fully recover. The range is pretty decent as it seems to almost cover a whole bombsite. The activation time for the ultimate is long. In the video, it took roughly 10 seconds for the slow to activate. It might be used as a way to delay enemies pushing onto the site. It can also be used to slow enemies when retaking a bomb site. Her ultimate can also be used in post-plant situations to delay enemies from defusing. The pylon seems destructible meaning if enemies are fast enough to find it they can probably destroy it.
The ability description reads, “You’ll have to adjust your timing for the windup… it detains all enemies caught in its radius for about 8 seconds. Yeah, enemies can destroy it except I built plenty more.”
Video Showing All of Killjoy’s Abilities
Although VALORANT agent Killjoy is still to come out, we can get a sense of what her abilities will be by watching this video. Once pro players get enough time to test the abilities, only then we will know the full usefulness of her abilities.
