Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken has been acquired by FaZe clan from Team Liquid earlier today. He will be joining their CSGO roster and will be in the starting lineup.

The Canadian professional had a good run with his former team Liquid. In the Intel Extreme Masters Season XV Global Challenge, Team Liquid performed well qualifying from the Group stages and winning the semi-finals. But their run was halted by a 3-0 defeat in the Grand Finals vs Astralis.

Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken has been benched from the team’s main roster from the 22nd of December last year and did not get to play in BLAST Premier 2020: Global Final. There were rumors of him looking for options in Europe and finally today officially joined FaZe clan.

In place of Twistzz, Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye from FaZe’s active roster will be stepping down from their starting lineup. After a month of being benched, Twistzz is again seeking to redeem his place at the top of professional CSGO by playing alongside Helvijs “broky” Saukants, Håvard “rain” Nygaard, Marcelo “Coldzera” David, and Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer.

FaZe clan’s new starting lineup:

With Twistzz joining FaZe, the new revamped team now looks like this:

  • Håvard “rain” Nygaard
  • Marcelo “coldzera” David
  • Helvijs “broky” Saukants
  • Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer (stand in)
  • Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken

FaZe clan’s new lineup is looking formidable with their latest addition. With BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021 starting on the 4th of February, we will be able to see the team’s performance on the big stage very soon.
