Noah “jcStani” Smith was in the main lineup of Immortals’ Valorant roster. The team was once a top-tier team in the pro scene but has been going through a rough patch in recent times. In the VCT North America Stage 2 Challengers series, they have failed to progress further than the quarterfinals.
The American pro had decided to not renew his contract with Immortals. jcStani in an interview said, “Had discussions with the team about re-signing but chose to test free agency,”. “Contracts in esports are long; not many pros get this opportunity on their own terms,” he added.
jcStani had been with Immortals for almost a year now and had some highlights with the team in the Valorant scene. But with Immortals struggling, he sought new opportunities to get back into the highlight. And Andbox was just the thing he was looking for.
Andbox parted ways with b0i on the 14th of May. The team needed a replacement in his place and they reached out to jcStani to become the 5th member of their Valorant roster.
