According to insider Jeffrey Grubb, more Elden Ring news and info will be announced in March.
Elden Ring has been in a mysterious state since its announcement in 2019. Although only a short reveal trailer was shown. The fact that the game will be a collaboration between FromSoftware and Game of Thrones creator, George R.R. Martin, is reason enough to keep fans eager for it.
But it has been 2 years since we ever saw another glimpse of this secretive title. Apart from concept art, which was later deleted stating that it was meant for internal use. But it did still excite fans.
Right now it seems, fans are in for a treat as per insider news, we are about to get more Elden Ring news next month, March. GamesBeat’s Jeffrey Grubb talked about this in a podcast as well as tweeted about it. He also mentioned that he has confidence in this regard but plans may change and reveals may be pushed further. Furthermore, GamesBeat reviews editor Mike Minotti and Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier also vouched, saying that a reveal is imminent in March or in the near future. According to multiple sources and evidence.
Apart from these, no details about the game were shared, no gameplay, story, etc. Nevertheless, considering it’s a FromSoftware game, fans will be pleased and hyped with whatever is coming. It has been too long and we deserve to see some fresh gameplay of Elden Ring. And maybe a release date. For now, Let’s just hope it is not some concept art or a few screenshots.
One thing is certain, FromSoftware’s recent track records of Dark Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice proves that they know what fans want. Hence, it is not surprising to expect Elden Ring to raise the bar even higher.
