All Keepsakes In Elden Ring

There are nine keepsakes you can choose from in the game to give you an edge during battle. You will have to pick between these nine Keepsakes when you start the game. Don’t worry. This decision won’t shape your game’s story but will affect the gameplay. Check out each Keepsake we have explained below.

Crimson Amber Medallion will increase your Max Hp giving you more time on the battlefield. It is the most basic gift yet very effective in the game. As an early in-game keepsake, it is perfect. However, if you are planning to use a keepsake for a long time in the game, this keepsake is certainly not your choice.

Land’s Betweeen Rune

If you are looking for a Keepsake that will help you over time in the game, Land’s Be ween Rune is the perfect fit for you. Using these Keepsakes, you are storing Runes, which you can either use to Level up or Purchase gear from Merchants.

Golden Seed

Golden Seed can be used when you are a Site of Grace. It is our personal favorite, and you can use it pretty much throughout the game. You can increase the number of Flask charges to help you recover the lost HP and FP.

Fanged Imp Ashes

Spirit Ashes can be very helpful in the game, and Fanged Imp Ashes can be your very first if you start the game with it.

Cracked Pot

We wouldn’t recommend taking this one as your Keepsake in the game mainly because it can help you craft throwing pots which you can find in abundance throughout the world of Elden Ring. So wasting this in Keepsake will not be worth it.

Stonesword Key

You can use this key to unlock Imp Gargoyle Locks. They are dungeons with loots and weapons. This Keepsake will take time to give you something out of it, but it can be one of the best Keepsakes in the game.

Betwitching Branch

Bewitching Branch is a reasonably powerful Keepsake that allows you to charm enemies to fight on your side. It can be beneficial, but make sure you charm the formidable enemies to give the best advantage in a battle.

Boiled Prawn

Boiled Prawn is a consumable item you can use up to five times to give you some damage boost. It is not the Keepsake to go for, as you can only use it five times in the game after choosing it.

Shibiri’s Woe

Like Boiled Prawn, this is also a consumable item you can eat. However, this item will draw the attention of any nearby enemies towards you, making them cause madness. Since you will have to choose it at the beginning of the game, pulling enemies towards you might not be such a good idea, so our advice would be to stay clear of this one.

Best Keepsake in Elden Ring

If you are new to games from FromSoftware Inc, choosing the Crimson Amber Meddalion might be a good choice as it gives s you a health boost starting the game.

Moreover, if you want to invest in the game more and not get an early in-game advantage, Stonesword Key is one of the best. It will allow you to pick up good loot in the game, giving you the chance to get a powerful weapon. It is the best Keepsake you can take in the game as it gives you a better advantage than all Keepsakes.

The rest of Keepsakes are consumables you can find in the game as you continue your journey. Also, you should note that Keepsakes only give you a slight edge in battle, so choosing anyone won’t affect your battles immensely.
