Divinity 2 will run at 60 FPS on the new M1 chip powered iPad

In 2021 all seems to be about more fps and 4k resolution in new games. The next-gen of consoles have changed the complexion of gaming with better frame rates and visuals. Now, for the first time, Apple has announced that on the new iPad, Divinity 2 will run at 60 FPS.

Mobile gaming has hit new peaks in the past year with hits like Among us, Pubg Mobile, Free-Fire dominating the platform. M1 chips have already revolutionized the new Mac Books and Apple bringing them on iPads is a game-changer. The GPU on the iPad is confirmed to perform 40% better than last year’s model.

Divinity 2 will run at 60 FPS without any compromise on the iPad Pro, Larian studios confirmed. Moreover, the new M1 chip will give a stable 60 FPS on local and coop options bringing a new milestone in mobile gaming. The iPad port is yet to receive a release date, but Larian Studios have promised to give us more details soon.

Divinity 2 came out in 2017 first for PC. Larian studios brought it to for PS4 and Xbox One later. In 2019 it was announced for Nintendo Switch as well, and finally, now it is on IOS too. The new iPad will bring a new approach to gaming on mobile. Furthermore, this could be a breakthrough that may shape the future of mobile gaming.
