Farming Forgotten Souls in Diablo 4
There are a few ways to get forgotten souls in Diablo 4. But this item can only drop during the Helltide event. If you haven’t reached World Tier 3 yet, in world tier 3 after completing the campaign, you will get an urgent quest that will introduce you to the Helltide event. It is a region-wide event, indicated by the red map.
Once the Helltide event starts, you can get the forgotten souls from a few different places. The easiest is to get them from Screaming Hell Veins. These mining spots give a random ore along with some forgotten souls when the event is active.
Another way to get forgotten souls is by defeating Harbingers and elite enemies during the game. The Tortured Gift of Mysteries best also has some chance to drop forgotten souls during the event. So, even though you cannot farm them all the time, you will have plenty of options to farm forgotten souls once the Helltide event starts.
