Diablo 4 beta lets the players choose from three different classes. After choosing the class, you can customize your character. Here is how you can do it in the game.
Diablo 4 is the first full-fledged Diablo game in a long time. The last major Diablo was released in 2012. Even though we have gotten Diablo Immortal in the middle, that was targeted toward the mobile market. So many Diablo fans were left disappointed by the game, along with its microtransactions. Since the last Diablo game was so many years ago, this new game wants to bring the old players back and capture a new audience.
Diablo 4 beta has released three out of the five classes for you to play and experiment with. In this game, you need to choose your class then you can customize the character to a certain extent. Along with that, they also have released two different world tiers for the players to check out. That being said, this guide will focus on all the aspects of character creation in Diablo 4 beta. Character Customization in Diablo 4 Beta
In Diablo 4 beta, you have to go through a few menus to customize your character completely. So, let us go through the menu by menu to break down each one and how you can adjust them.
Choosing Class
Before customizing your character, you must choose which class you want to play. In the beta, you can choose Rogue, Barbarian, and Mage. Select the desired class you want to play, and the game will move you to the next menu.
Body Type
After you choose the class, you will get this menu. Here you can choose whether you want to be a male or a female. Each body type comes with its own different preset of the character. Choose the one that more closely resembles what you want to make. This will serve as the basic mold for your character customization.
Face and Body
After choosing the body type, you will find yourself in the Face & Body menu. Here you will see four different face variations. These are not different faces but changes in the orientation of facial features like the nose, eyes, and mouth. This is why choosing the preset in the previous section is important. It will help you get a closer result as you want it.
Other than the face, you can also choose the skin color of your characters from the Skin Tones menu. And the eye color of the character can also be chosen from here. However, you cannot do any colored eye you want. The game has a fixed set of eye colors for you to choose from.
Hair
The 2nd menu you will have to go through is the Hair. You can choose hairstyles from this menu. There are 11 different styles for you to choose from. If you want facial hair, it is also present here. And finally, you can also choose your hair colors here. Similar to eye colors, hair colors also have limited options. But hair colors do have a lot more variations than the eyes.
Accessories
No character is complete without their accessories. There are a few accessory options for our character in the Diablo 4 beta. First, we have makeup which changes the dark making of the character’s face. Then the next option is jewelry, which will change different items your character wears on its ear and nose.
Then finally, we have the Marking and Marking colors. Markings are the tattoos that the character uses. You can choose to have them, or if you don’t want any tattoos, you can do that too. On top of that, you can change and customize the colors of these markings/tattoos. Just like the previous color options, this one also has preset colors for you to choose from.
Finalize
At the very last step, your character needs a name. You can also choose to play the game in Hardcore mode if you wish to. But for first-time players, this will not be a good idea. So give your character a name and start the journey into the world of Diablo 4.
