Diablo 4 beta offers two different difficulty levels with minimal explanation. So here we will break down the difference between the Adventurer and Veteran modes of the game and which one you should play.
Diablo 4 brings the game back to its root after Diablo Immortal, which took the game to mobile devices. Diablo 3 was the previous big Diablo title that was available on all the major platforms. But that game came out back in 2012. With so long of a gap, Diablo 4 is trying to break into a newer audience along with keeping the older ones.
Diablo 4 has changed the difficulty settings of Diablo games from the previous system. Now you will have five different levels of the world stage, and depending on what stage you want to play on, you will gain certain benefits. In the Diablo 4 beta, we have access to the Adventurer and Veteran stages of the game.
Even though the game explains briefly what each of the stages gives or not to the player, there is still a question of which is actually better to play on. Thus, this article will answer your question about which world you should play Diablo 4 on.

Difference Between Adventurer and Veteran in Diablo 4
The two tiers of the world we have available on the beta are Adventurer and Veteran. Each of these worlds gives the player different benefits. Adventurer is for those who want mainly a story and not too challenging combat. The enemies will be easier to defeat, do less damage, and be less aggressive generally. This will be easier to play, and first-time Diablo players will be able to find their footing in this mode.
However, if you are up for the challenge or the Adventurer tier seems too easy, you may want to try out the Veteran tier. This tier is designed for returning players with experience with other Diablo games or who want to challenge themselves with the gameplay. The game also rewards the player of the Veteran tier by giving them more exp and gold drops.
Veteran tier players will gain 20% increased exp and 15% more monster drop as well as gold when defeating enemies. This means you will be able to level up faster and reach the end game a lot faster than Adventerur tier players. So you can say the game encourages the players to choose Veteran.
But suppose you cannot defeat enemies or find the veteran tier too hard, even though it provides better loot. In that case, you may want to play on the adventurer tier since the game is only good on Veteran when you enjoy it by killing more enemies. This way, you will reach a higher level steadily as you play the game, and then you will be ready to take on a higher-tier world.
