Destiny 2 is a popular online multiplayer first-person shooter game developed by Bungie. After its initial release in 2017, it has grown in popularity among gamers. The game takes place in a futuristic world where players assume the position of a Guardian, a guardian of humanity, and battle various alien races to rescue the cosmos.

There are many different game modes in Destiny 2, including PvE and PvP. Trials of Osiris, a once-a-week competition where players compete in a 3v3 elimination format, is one of the most thrilling PvP variants. The objective is to win as many games as possible to collect rewards, such as unique armor and weapon sets.

We’ll break down the Trials of Osiris matchmaking system in Destiny 2 and provide a detailed analysis of each component. We’ll look at both skill-based and card-based matchmaking systems and explain how they work to give players a fair and competitive experience.

The Trials of Osiris is a weekly competitive PvP game mode in Destiny 2. In this game mode, teams of three players compete against each other in a series of elimination-style matches to win as many matches as possible without losing three games.

The game mode is only available on weekends, from Friday to Tuesday. To win, players must form their fireteam or join one and communicate and coordinate with their teammates. Players compete for valuable rewards such as powerful weapons and unique armor sets in this mode.

Trials of Osiris has a different matchmaking system that distinguishes it from other Crucible and Competitive modes. Compared to traditional skill-based matchmaking, it utilizes a win-based system in which Destiny 2 attempts to pair players with teams with the same number of wins.

Additionally, the system resets every new tournament weekend, giving all players a fresh start. Players concerned about facing Flawless teams should not be, as the Flawless pool is available from Sunday to Friday. During this time, Flawless players can only play against other Flawless players, ensuring a level playing field for casual players until Sunday.

Players can test their skills against others with similar records and avoid the frustration of facing unbeatable opponents thanks to its win-based matchmaking system and Flawless pool feature.
