Prerequisite Quest: Toil and Trouble
Before you dive into the Bladed Path weekly quest within Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch, there’s an initial questline you need to complete known as Toil and Trouble. This questline acts as a precursor and helps you get prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.
You can begin this questline either by accessing the H.E.L.M. map or by launching the Way of the Witch mission. The Toil and Trouble quest line consists of several straightforward steps that gradually unfold the storyline and introduce you to the upcoming adventure.
First, you’ll need to successfully finish the Way of the Witch mission. Following that, there’s an encounter at Savathun’s Spire that you must overcome, adding an element of mystery and excitement to the journey. Additionally, you’ll be prompted to investigate a portal located in the southern area of the H.E.L.M., which is the central hub for your activities.
Continuing the questline, you’ll engage with Eris Morn in the Athenaeum, exchanging conversations that shed light on the unfolding narrative. The Lectern of Divination becomes your source of guidance, offering insights and information that will aid you as you progress.
Finally, the Ritual Table within the Athenaeum holds the potential to unlock deeper abilities, empowering you for the adventures ahead in Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch. Each step in this questline contributes to building anticipation and providing essential context for the upcoming Bladed Path weekly quest.
The Bladed Path: Week 1
There is not much to unveil in the first week of The Bladed Path. The primary task is to conquer formidable opponents and offer your strength to Eris Morn in the Invoke mission. This mission might take the most time as you move through different arenas, vanquishing enemies and contributing your strength to Eris.
Additionally, during this week, you’ll need to visit two locations within the H.E.L.M. First, head to the holoprojector, which holds vital information for your journey. Then, make your way to the radio in the H.E.L.M., another point of interest that adds to the unfolding narrative.
The Bladed Path: Week 2
In Destiny 2’s The Bladed Path’s second week, you have to explore the throne world to find hidden Hive runes in the Lost Sectors. Start by talking to Eris Morn at the Athenaeum. Eris Morn will tell you the Hive’s history and the Season’s happenings. Next, choose an elemental affinity at Eris Morn’s Ritual Table.
Use your chosen elemental strength to defeat your opponents, utilizing the relevant damage kind. You need to do this in Savathun’s Throne World or during seasonal activities. Your next task is to attune to the Hive elemental runes, cleverly buried in Savathun’s Throne World’s Lost Sectors.
The H.E.L.M. radio station provides mission-related information to help you comprehend the game. Return to the Athenaeum to continue chats with Eris Morn to stay updated. Explore the southern wing of the H.E.L.M.’s holoprojector for insights regarding your adventure.
After completing these tasks, be patient for the next week. You can also repeat the Ritual Table at the Athenaeum to modify your elemental affinities. The Lost Sector for attuning the element may vary; therefore, see our Savathun’s Throne World Lost Sectors section for help finding them.
The Bladed Path: Week 3
Week 3 of the Bladed Path offers a streamlined experience. The central focus lies on a unique mission known as Conjure. In this mission, you’ll stand alone against the formidable adversaries of Xivu Arath within the Altars of Summoning.
Start your mission by visiting Eris in the Athenaeum, where you will gain crucial insights into the ongoing narrative, setting the stage for your next endeavors. Your journey continues with the completion of Savathun’s Spire, a pivotal task that marks a significant milestone in this week’s quest.
Head over to the holoprojector stationed in the H.E.L.M. This interface holds key information that will guide your upcoming actions. The highlight of Week 3 is the Conjure mission, where you’ll face a challenging solo encounter against the forces of Xivu Arath within the Altars of Summoning.
Extend your exploration to the holoprojector situated in the southern wing of the H.E.L.M. It might hold additional insights crucial to your mission. Additionally, pay a visit to the radio within the H.E.L.M. This connection ensures you stay well-informed and engaged with the evolving narrative.
The Bladed Path: Week 4
The quest begins with a visit to the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M., setting the stage for the journey ahead. Then, you will be directed to Eris Morn’s Ritual Table to attune with your chosen element, aligning your powers with your selection. Subsequently, you will be tasked with testing your newfound elemental strength by completing two patrols and dispatching enemies within Savathun’s Throne World. This step serves as a proving ground for your abilities.
A crucial aspect of the quest is the requirement to attune five Void Hive runes within the Sepulcher Lost Sector, which necessitates the effective use of the chosen elemental power. After this challenging endeavour, you must visit Ikora in The Plunge, accessing the Dive Tank found via the H.E.L.M. The quest then directs you to revisit the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M., followed by a visit to the radio in the same location for additional updates.
The Bladed Path: Week 5
The journey begins with a visit to the holoprojector situated in the H.E.L.M. This sets the stage for what lies ahead as you continue your exploration of the enigmatic Imbaru Engine. You will be tasked with completing 5 Altars of Summoning, where you will encounter formidable foes and complex challenges.
Following this challenging endeavor, you will return to the holoprojector in the H.E.L.M., providing a pivotal point for your progression in the quest. Here, the mysterious and cryptic Imbaru Engine adventure truly takes shape. The next step involves a conversation with Eris Morn in the Athenaeum, where you will receive crucial insights into the journey ahead.
After that, you will be instructed to collect the A Gift of Cunning Minor Arcana from the Lectern of Divination, suggesting that arcane knowledge and artefacts play a central role in this adventure. The heart of Week 5’s quest is entering the enigmatic Imbaru Engine. This surreal space, reminiscent of an M.C. Escher artwork, is filled with traps and illusions, promising a unique and challenging experience.
When you have spare time, visit Eris Morn, where she has left a note containing crucial information about future plans. The quest then takes players back to the radio in the H.E.L.M., where Eris Morn will tell you to wait for the next update.
As the current Season has recently started, and it’s only the fifth week of this season, we have to wait for the next week to progress through this campaign. Until then, you can check out our other Destiny 2 content to make your journey easier.
