Every Major Upcoming Feature
Since the release of Destiny 2, players have been begging for some changes to the community features in Destiny 2. After eight years of community feedback and requests, Destiny 2 will finally have these features in the 2023 Lightfall Update. These features are:
- In-game LFG (2023)
- In-game Loadouds & Mod Manager (Lightfall)
- Guardian Ranks (Lightfall)
- Guardian Commendations (Lightfall)
In-game LFG (2023)
LFG is a fire team Finder For Destiny 2 where players can find random fire teams and join them to complete end-game content and some of the hardest content that requires a fire team to complete. If you are stuck in the same dungeon for hours or want to complete a raid that requires 3 or 6 players, then you should use the LFG Fireteam finder.
Although we already have an LFG feature for Destiny 2 that is tied to the Bungies companion app, some players don’t like to use 3rd party app for these features only. Instead, players have always wanted the In-Game LFG Features in Destiny 2. It took them eight years, and they are finally getting the most awaited community features of Destiny 2.
In-game Loadouds & Mod Manager (Lightfall)
Loadouts and mod manager is also a great feature in Destiny 2, where you can sort your weapons, gears, and mods. Inventory management is always an issue in every game with a restricted item slot with your character. Unfortunately, destiny 2 is one game with very few slots with your characters. That is why players are always swapping gear from characters to vault and vault to characters.
Destiny 2 already has an Inavetory manager called “Destiny Item Manger,” aka DIM. Destiny Item Manager is a third-party website developed by Bungie, where you can store and manage your Destiny 2 inventory. Players have always wanted an in-game inventory management feature. By the look of it, they are actually going to get the Inventory management features in the upcoming Lightfall update.
Guardian Rank & Guardian Commendation (Lightfall)
The player ranking system in-game is common nowadays, where others can see your achievements and ranking. You can show off your hard-earned title and badges to everyone who is visiting your profile or the leaderboard. The leaderboard gives some motivation to the players to climb up.
Guardian Rank & Guardian Commendation is a community feature that is going to change some aspects of the game. If someone is helping others, he should be recognized for their good deeds. Guardian Commendation in-game can give you a strange sense of satisfaction. If you enjoy helping people, seeing these appear in your stats will be so satisfying.
