Cyberpunk 2077 active player base is now the same as Witcher 3’s

Cyberpunk 2077 now has an online active player base equal of Witcher 3.

Things are not going well for CDPR since the release of Cyberpunk 2077. Not to mention the rocky release, the backslash, and recently they even got hacked. CDPR received threats from hackers who hold the source codes of Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, and Gwent as ransom. All of that and now Cyberpunk 2077 active player base is going down at a rate they did not expect.

Since the release, the issues in the game have been disappointing fans all over the Globe. Above all, console players were not happy to see such an unoptimized version for Old-Gen. The active player base has been going down since the release, but today it reached a number we didn’t expect it would.

Cyberpunk 2077, at the time of writing this article, now has a player base equal to Witcher 3. In January CDPR’s, Cyberpunk had an average player Base of 82 thousand. This number sadly now has been halved in just 30 days. The game came out on 10th December 2020, and more than 1 million people were playing back then.

The player base of Witcher 3 hit a peak on February 14 of 38 thousand which is the highest this month for the game. On the other hand, Cyberpunk hit its lowest ever of 37.5 thousand, getting beaten by a game released 6 years before its release.
