CSGO: The Long-Awaited Update “Broken Fang” Is Now Live

Developers at Valve just dropped the update along with a brand new operation that everyone in the community was patiently waiting for a long time now.

CSGO has not received a major update for a while. People in the CSGO community were eagerly waiting for this. The update came with some awesome features including the new operation Broken Fang.

The update is featuring new game modes like Retakes, stats page, agents, weapon collections, missions, maps, and more!

Release Notes for 12/3/2020

— Introducing Operation Broken Fang, featuring new game modes like Broken Fang Premier and Retakes, stats page, agents, weapon collections, missions, maps, and more!

— Added Broken Fang Premier Mode.
— Added Retakes game mode.
— Added dynamic ping system to more game modes.
— Added new customizable chat wheel feature.
— Chat wheel can be customized under Keyboard/Mouse > Chat Wheel Keys options.

[ MAPS ]
— Added Ancient, Engage, and Apollo to Scrimmage, Casual and Deathmatch game modes.
— Added Frostbite to Danger Zone game mode.
— Added Guard and Elysion to Wingman game mode.
— Removed Mutiny and Swamp.

— Removed excessive details.
— Generally smoothed visual experience.
— Visual clarity improvements for very low resolution users.

— Mild optimizations at the A Bombsite and Mid.
— Finishing visual touches.

Operation Broken Fang comes with a price of around fifteen USD including tons of fun features and rewards. You can actually add some bucks to your steam wallet by selling those rewarded items.

The developers also added Ancient, Engage, and Apollo to Scrimmage, Casual, and Deathmatch game modes. However, they removed Mutiny and Swamp.

They have also made some changes in visuals and optimization to give us a smoother visual experience. Even the low-resolution users will encounter visually improved clarity. A completely new addition to the game is the ping system. Now players can ping your opponent’s position just like every other major FPS games at this point.

The community is going crazy over this recent update. Which is totally normal considering the amount of time they had to wait for this particular update. It is like they have found the treasure they had been looking for.

It seems the previous workshop map update was made pointing at this current release note. Some people in the community predicted it perfectly and saw through the upcoming update.
