ESports is becoming more popular than ever and 2020 is no different with more people engaging in it than ever before. CSGO has had over 1400 tournaments this year including local, international, and major tournaments. Due to the present world situation, the bulk of them was hosted online. Because of this, the total prize money was lower totaling USD 16.8M compared to last year’s USD 22M.

From this $16.8M total prize money, the teams that have earned the highest amount have been sorted and listed. It seems that the European teams have been the highest earners with 12 out of the top 20 being European teams, 4 North American teams, and 4 from the Commonwealth Independent States. This could also be due to a big portion of the high prize-pool tournaments being held in Europe.
