Crysis Remastered PC requirements released

It’s time for the age-old question to be asked again “Can it run Crysis(Remastered)”.

Crytek has officially released the Crysis Remastered PC requirements, in addition to Epic Games Store listing. Although this time around, the ‘can it run Crysis’ has probably been changed to ‘can it run Microsoft Flight Simulator.’

Crytek has confirmed that the game will support DLSS and¬†hardware-based raytracing, using Nvidia’s VKRay Vulkan Extensions. Furthermore, Crysis Remastered will also support software-based ray-tracing on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and PC. This is a proprietary feature CRYENGINE. Hence both AMD and Nvidia GPU users can enjoy new lighting and reflection effects.

To summarise, the basic requirements are 8gb of ram, a quad-core processor such as a Ryzen 3, or a 3rd gen Core i5. In addition to, GTX1050 ti 4gb GPU or equivalent.

Crysis Remastered recommended system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-7600k or higher / AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 20GB
  • Direct X: DX11
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti / AMD Radeon Vega 56
  • GPU memory: 8GB in 1080p

Although seems a bit demanding. The requirements are much reachable compared to the original game. With the new RTX3000 series, Crysis Remastered will look out of this world, especially in crisp 4k. Maybe even 8k.

We expect a great remaster with mesmerizing looks and the classic sandbox gameplay. The game will be out on Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and PS4 on September 18. Crysis is already released on the Switch.
