Complexity Gaming defeat BIG 2:0 at IEM Beijing 2020 securing a spot in the Semi-Finals

Intel Extreme Masters XV – Beijing-Haidian Online: Europe 2020 is a Two-stage Double elimination tournament where 16 teams battle it out for the $150,000 USD prize-pool.

Complexity and BIG face off against each other in the playoffs in the IEM Beijing 2020 Quarterfinals. Both teams have made their presence known with BIG beating ENCE and Ninjas in Pyjamas while Complexity beat Fnatic and Natus Vincere.

The series started off with Nuke being the first map, picked by BIG. The score was close at a 9:6 in favor of Complexity at half-time but afterward, closed the map with an insane 7 round winstreak. The second map was Overpass which was the choice of Complexity. They led the map with a sizeable 10:5 lead at halftime but were faced with a strong attack in the second half. BIG almost made a comeback with their valiant efforts but barely fell short at the last moment.

Complexity Gaming fended off BIG in Overpass at B site with a perfectly timed push from jks and RUSH. Also, jks sprayed three men down with his signature style. And RUSH got 3 USP one-taps in the pistol round. But the main spotlight goes to Benjamin “blameF” Bremer for his +23 K/D and 104.2 ADR.
