Complexity beats NAVI securing a spot in the IEM BEIJING-HAIDIAN playoffs

Complexity joins Faze in the IEM BEIJING-HAIDIAN playoffs after beating Natus Vincere on a three map series that went to the deciding map to determine the winner.

Complexity lost the first map which was their pick by 10-16. NAVI on the other hand lost the second map which surprisingly was their pick by the same score 10-16. These two maps pushed the outcome of the match to the third and deciding map.

Both of these teams were outstanding throughout the whole tournament till now winning every single match they’ve played. The first half of the deciding map was full of surprises. NAVI won the first pistol round. However, that didn’t break Complexity’s spirit to win the second round. Complexity went for a force buy and snatched the second round out of NAVI’s hand.

After the first half Complexity began to increase the difference in rounds at a steady pace. NAVI gave them a great fight trying to gain the lead. However, Complexity’s dynamic playstyle got the better of NAVI. Not even the best player in the world S1mple could stop them from taking the victory.

It was really unfortunate for the NAVI fans as they couldn’t see their favorite player perform the way they wanted. Maybe it just wasn’t his day.
