Ahead of the Black Ops: Cold War’s launch on November 13th, Patch 1.29’s arrival is imminent for Modern Warfare & Warzone across all devices.

Activision is speeding up development for Warzone & Black Ops: Cold War crossover as Patch 1.29 is already downloadable for a limited number of PS4 players. The patch will be available for all devices within November 9, 11 PM PT. XBOX and PC players might have to wait a bit longer for the patch. Right now, the patch file weighs over 33GB on PS4. The sheer size of the update indicates extensive support for PS5 and XBOX Series X.
Over the last few months, Modern Warfare & Warzone received significant quality improvement updates and bug fixes. Along with those updates, Warzone Season Six provided the Call of Duty community with a colossal amount of content. Warzone’s integration with Black Ops: Cold War is about to occur in early December, so it’s enough to assume that Patch 1.29 won’t bring any exclusive Warzone content.

So far, no official patch note is available, but it’s clear that Activision and Treyarch are preparing a proper environment to integrate these two titles. The worldwide deployment of Black Ops: Cold War is currently aimed for November 13th.
