Warzone Weapon Tier List Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded

As usual, this weapon tier list will start with the S-Tier Weapons with the highest pick rate and popularity within the community and dominance in the current Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded meta. These weapons will help dominate Warzone with ease.

The next one in line is the is A-Tier weapons with the most popularity and decent pick rates, although they slightly fall behind their S-Tier counterparts. However, they can be swapped with the S-Tier weapons only if a player really likes something particular about that weapon. Even though they are not that dominant in the meta, they still exist due to their past exposure in the limelight.

The weapons in B-Tier are usable but would not offer the same magnitude of firepower that is available in S-Tier and A-Tier weapons. Consequently, these weapons have a pick rate below one and are generally not seen that much in Warzone lobbies.

Then comes the C-Tier weapons, which offer no additional benefit. As such, they have a zero pick rate. These weapons are not up to par with their S-Tier and A-Tier counterparts. These weapons are better left avoided if you want to dominate Warzone lobbies with the new season 5 update.

As with any other tier list, this one is extremely subjective and based entirely on our own game experiences. Also, the tier list contains direct links to our optimal weapon loadout guide for these individual weapons updated for the new seasonal update.

Top 5 Best Meta Weapons in Warzone

5. H4 Blixen (Call of Duty: Vanguard)

The H4 Blixen is similar to Welgun. However, it has a slower fire rate. It has the fastest time to kill out of all S.M.G.s from Vanguard’s weapon pool. The S.M.G. has been a meta weapon since the launch of the Classified Arms Reloaded update.

Due to its effectiveness in most combat scenarios, the weapon has been in a good position in the meta. With the Rebirth Island and Caldera rework, the S.M.G. helped players dominate mid-range and close-range gunfights with excellent efficiency. Consequently, the gun might receive a nerf in the latter portion of season 3 Reloaded. The damage output might reduce to keep it up to par with other S.M.G.s in the current weapon pool.

4. Marco 5 (Call of Duty: Vanguard)

In the current Warzone meta, S.M.G.s are strong and more dominant in a gunfight as they can always be trusted in close to medium-range encounters. Like most other weapons in its class, the Marco 5 is a versatile S.M.G. with a high fire rate and a reasonable damage range. Marco 5 is the most recent addition to Vanguard’s weapon pool as it was released with the Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune update.

The Marco 5 is a small barrel gun that is straightforward to use while moving. The weapon is potent in close-range gunfights, especially on the new Fortune’s Keep map. Moreover, clearing corners in Rebirth Island and dominating long-range gunfights in the terrains of Caldera will be a breeze using the proper loadout on this weapon.

3. MP40 (Call of Duty: Vanguard)

The MP40 is part of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s post-launch weapon pool. It received notoriety in the beta of Vanguard as the best S.M.G. in the game. While this WW2-era gun might not have a higher rate of fire like other weapons in the current meta, it still has one of the best bullet velocity and damage capabilities in long-range encounters in the game with manageable recoil.

S.M.G.s have the upper hand in close-range gunfights. MP40, due to its bullet velocity, is very much viable in close-range gunfights, especially on a map like Rebirth Island, where close-range gunfights await players in every corner.

2. Cooper Carbine (Call of Duty: Vanguard)

Francis Lanakila’s first choice, the Cooper Carbine, was added to the game as a part of the season one content for Warzone Pacific. Raven Software has taken the mantle of overseeing the game, and they regularly change weapons alongside the game modes to keep things fresh.

Cooper Carbine is a hybrid of Assault Rifles (AR) and Sub-Machine guns (SMG), best suited for close-quarter fights. Rebirth Island rewards players using SMGs heavily as the map gets a lot of close-quarter engagements. With the new build that reduces the weapon’s recoil and increases bullet velocity, the gun will be ideal for the meta of season 5.

1. KG M40 (Call of Duty: Vanguard)

Based on the Knorr-Bremse m/40, the KG M40 is the counterpart of the Bruen MKII from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is a Swedish-made Automatic Rifle suitable for 7.92×57mm Mauser ammunition. This gas-operated chain-fed weapon has a vicious fire rate and damage output, making it easy to dominate long-range gunfights.

The weapon was added into the game with the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard season 2. It was in tier 15 of the battle pass. It quickly became a meta AR for Warzone. The weapon soon took the place of Bruen with almost the same configuration as the gun was able to deal more damage at long ranges. The Cooper Carbine is its only rival in terms of stats as other ARs from Vanguard’s weapon pool are comparatively weaker.

With the release of the Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded update, the meta will shift from long-range weapon builds to mid-range builds. However, with the new Fortune’s Keep map, long-range meta will still thrive as the map has vast open spaces, and long-range gunfights are bound to happen. Players might find the Sniper Rifles to be less rewarding because of the nerfs. However, in long-range gunfights, Sniper Rifles will always remain superior compared to Assault Rifles.

In Rebirth Island and Fortune Island, mid-range and close-range weapon loadouts will outshine long-range weapon loadouts as the map enforces close-quarters combat. For an overall rewarding Warzone experience, we recommend players to use long-range and mid-range builds for Assault Rifles and close-range builds for S.M.G.s to dominate the current meta.
