Brie Larson Wants To Play as Samus
Things started to take form when she dressed up as Samus for Halloween. Seeing her in Samus Aran costume one fan pointed out it was the closest thing they would get to a Metroid movie. She replied to the fan by saying she wanted to make one. This was back in 2018.
Recently another fan made a Metroid style cover with Brie Larson as Samus. Brie Larson replied to this post by asking her fans to make it happen.
Brie Larson is clearly interested in the Metroid franchise. She shares a passion for the games similar to one we saw with Henry Cavill and the Witcher series. Henry expressed his love for the Witcher Franchise and his desire to play as Geralt long before the series was even made. And we know that Henry Cavill as Geralt was received with much love by the fans of the Witcher series.
So if Brie Larson can also use her passion to fill the shoes of Samus Aran, there is no doubt the film will be received with positivity by the fans.
