BloodStained: Ritual of The Night will be getting a Classic Mode

505 Games and Artplay have announced that the popular Metroidvania, BloodStained: Ritual of The Night will soon be getting a Classic Mode.

Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night will be getting another free update, this time a Classic Mode. Furthermore, this Classic Mode changes the gameplay to a much more retro Metroidvania feel. Such as older Castlevania’s.

This means that movement and mobility will be limited and stiffer. Hence adding a bit more challenge to the game.

BloodStained Ritual of The Night Classic Mode was announced in the official BloodStained Twitter.

This free update is part of a roadmap for the game the developer announced this year. This roadmap contains loads of free content. Such as free content and crossovers. BloodStained’s new Classic Mode will be coming in early next year. That is January of 2021. So not even a month remains.

Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night released in June 2019, got its inspiration from Castlevania games. Especially Symphony of the Night.

The game instantly received widespread reception for its engaging gameplay and level design. Therefore now considered one of the best Metroidvania titles of all time.

Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night and all of its updates are available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Switch along with iOS and Android. Additionally, the game will also be playable on next-gen consoles, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
