Creator of Detective Pikachu will be making the Beyond Good and Evil movie.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced at E3 2017, and since then no news of the game has emerged. Furthermore, the Beyond Good and Evil movie will be directed by Rob Letterman. The director behind Detective Pikachu. Considering the Pokemon live-action was actually a good movie, we can expect this one to be of the same quality, if not better.

The original Beyond Good and Evil was released in 2003, by Ubisoft and provided a great action-adventure experience, playing as the journalist Jade. Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be a prequel to the original game. Considering, we don’t have a speck of information or release date of the game. In fact, it’s already been 3 years, we can expect the game to come to next-gen systems. The only gameplay details we know is that the game will be more of a traditional RPG.

A lot of popular games have gotten the movie or TV series treatment recently with great reception. Such as The Witcher, Castlevania. Additionally, Dragon’s Dogma and Cyberpunk 2077 anime will also be heading to Netflix. Also, a very recently announced Cuphead Tv show.

We hope to see the Beyond Good and Evil game as well as the movie soon.
