Best Weapons in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Master Sword
The Master Sword is known to be the greatest weapon ever built in Hyrule. Created by the goddess Hylia herself, this weapon is kept hidden in the Lost Woods. Being a Key Item in the game and also being the symbol of Link’s ultimate destiny, it comes with some special perks to solve various puzzles throughout Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How to Get: First, you have to find the Light Dragon. Then, use a combination of Skyview Towers and your Paraglider to land on the dragon. You will see the sword engraved into its head. To get it out, you need to have two full stamina bars. So before you can go on this quest, I would suggest to complete some Shrines beforehand and also to get the Lights of Blessing.
Mushroom Spear
I have a Spear, I have a Mushroom; Mushroom Spear! Who would’ve thought combining a simple spear with a fungus would create such a magnificent and deadly weapon? The mushroom spear may not be the strongest weapon out there, but it will do the damage to make you survivable. Moreover, the scenic beauty of sending them flying with the power of bounciness is worth watching.
You also get the advantage of the spear’s length, as it already gives you enough space to breathe and poke your foes. Needless to say, this is a perfect fused weapon when you’re in a blind corner. It’s not like you’re going up against the Light Dragon or anything.
Chuchu Jelly Arrows
Fuse the Chuchu Jelly and your beloved Arrows together to get an explosive weapon that can deal massive elemental damage. There is red, yellow, and white jelly to go for that can ignite, shock, or freeze your foes. If they somehow survive by God’s grace, the elemental damage will make them think twice about their life.
However, there are other uses for Chuchu Jelly if you ever think of it being useless slime. You can use it for transportation, like creating ice blocks on water and other wacky effects you might think of. Note that this jelly is harmful if you use it on your melee weapons.
Winged Arrows
If you ever need of a sniper item, just fuse Wings to your arrows. Now, you can now shoot further than ever before. It’s a perfect combination for long-ranged combat and even for a stealth approach.
Moreover, gravity will play less tricks than usual on the Winged Arrows. Needless to say, the arrows will fly more in the straight zone for a long time before planning on hitting the ground. Also, if you manage to get your hands on Aerocuda Wings, you will finally be able to set aside the wind friction in your math textbook.
Eyeball Arrows
How about attaching some eyeballs to your arrows? Sounds good, right? Link has the choice to add an eyeball to his arrows and watch the convenience of homing arrows. With these fused arrows, you don’t have to worry about missing your targets or even struggling to hit fast-moving foes.
Moreover, these Eyeball arrows are also great for hunting food sources that run away when sensing danger. Be like, hunt for any eye with an eye; lousy joke.
Spiked Iron Ball
Don’t get fooled by its unassuming appearance. The spike full of balls on top of a stick can do a whopping damage to any foe. Must say, quite an ultimate weapon to unleash. Moreover, you do not even need to bother polishing over and over to keep it shiny. Just fuse one spiked iron ball with a one-handed weapon and embrace the chaos. The goblins won’t even know what hit them.
Rocket Shield
One of the best shield fusions in Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is the Zonai Rockets. This combination doesn’t provide any direct combat advantage. However, it enables Link to launch himself upwards. This can be very useful in a variety of scenarios.
Say, for example, take the slow-mo shots at the goblins or even gain access to areas that he couldn’t reach with the Ascend ability. However, note that this Rocket Shield fusion has a one-time use. That means after you activate this shield, the rocket then will disappear after the job is done. Even in exploration, it can come in handy to skip various puzzles.
