To conquer the night city, you will need the best gear possible. This guide will show the best weapons you can get in Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 introduces you to the dazzling and fiery life of Night City. You are V, an up-and-coming mercenary who looking to make it to the major leagues. But how can you get to play with the big boys if you don’t have the proper toys?
CD Projekt Red thought that through and offered those toys all around the corners of Night City. Some weapons of devastating power are hidden behind side quests or just simply in a crate. So, make sure to explore everything.

That being said, why not just aim for the best of the best? Grab the strongest weapons in the game and take on hoards of enemies all by yourself. But how can you get the best weapons in Cyberpunk 2077?
Well, don’t worry, because that is what this guide is all about. In this Cyberpunk 2077 guide, I will point you to the top 5 weapons in Cyberpunk that will make you a force of nature in the streets of the night city.
Top 5 Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077
Here are my top 5 picks for the best weapons in Cyberpunk 2077:
1. Mantis Blades
If you love the melee combat in the game, then there aren’t many melee weapons that come close to the sheer power and joy that mantis blades bring. This implant for your hand allows you to open up and reveal the blades, which look identically like a mantis’s claws.
These blades offer fast attack speeds ranging from 2 to 10%. But that is not the best part; using mantis blades on human enemies will cause them to bleed, which will make them mostly incapacitated while you rummage through them.
You can obtain mantis blades quite early in the game. I recommend visiting the Ripperdoc in nomad camp for the epic version, which would cost 50k credits.
2. Skippy
Ever heard ‘cute but deadly?’. Well, that is exactly what this. This is a smart SMG that has a personal AI installed in it. The gun can go from a regular SMG to a completely precise device of death. You will be able to choose two modes with this gun: Puppy Loving Pacifist & Stone Cold Killer
As you can probably guess from the names, the second mode makes you an aimbot. The other one also damages or should we say mutilates enemies as instead of headshots, the mode will allow the gun to aim at the limbs of your opponent.
You will find Skippy when you start the ‘Machine Gun’ quest. Follow along the quest line and be sure to loot enemy guns, and you will encounter Skippy shortly after.

3. Overwatch
For those of you who love to use snipers, the Overwatch is the weapon to go for. You will easily do 1000+ damage per bullet when you reach max level. The cherry on top is that if you like Panam, then just following her quest line will reward you with this absolute beast.
Pair it up with the necessary perks and skills from the skill tree, and you should be able to take out enemies from miles away!
4. Ba Xing Chong
This is a craftable weapon that you will find the blueprints for in the Adam Smasher’s vault. Yes, you will have to progress the story quite a bit to do so, but once you get it, there is no way you are going to pick another shotgun in the game.
But there is a catch: you can only get this craftable weapon if you have the Edgerunner Artisan perk unlocked. But is it worth it? Definitely!
5. Moron Labe
You can’t go wrong with assault rifles in a game like Cyberpunk 2077. The Moron Labe is a craftable weapon in the game that provides not only physical damage but also chemical damage to your opponents.
Moreover, it also has the ability to ricochet bullets off the surface. So, if you want to go full annihilation mode, this is the gun you are looking for.
To obtain this piece of gear, you will have to be in the West Wind Estate and look for the Suspected Organized Crime Activity (those sky blue-colored side missions to fight mobs).
