The Vargo-S is one of the most effective Assault Rifles from Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapon pool. Here’s a step-by-step guide on creating the best loadout for Vargo-S in Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded update.
Vargo-S is a full-auto assault rifle packing a punch with a fast fire rate and adequate long-range damage. It is one mean weapon that is effective where versatile equipment reigns. Unsurprisingly, Vargo-S is a total powerhouse for Warzone’s new map, Fortune’s Keep.
The gun has an improved muzzle velocity and reliable handling for steady control while firing. The recoil pattern is upward and is controllable with a slight downward press, making it a strong choice for mid-range to long-range encounters. The rifle’s effective range can be enhanced further with a proper selection of attachments.
How to unlock the Vargo-S in CoD Warzone
The Vargo-S is originally a part of the Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapon pool and was added to Warzone later on. It is an Assault Rifle, an unlockable weapon available after completing a specific challenge. As of writing, we don’t have any official information regarding the challenge. However, we’ll keep an eye on it and update this article as soon as new information is available.
Best Vargo-S Loadout
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Mirzoyan 414mm Custom
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Mirzoyan ANC
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 2x54mm 60 Round Drums
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Perk 1: Quick
- Perk 2: Acrobatic
MX Silencer and Mirzoyan 414mm Custom will help reduce the recoil and sway of the Vargo-S with increased damage range. The SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x is an optic sight that will allow the Vargo-S to be effective in long-range gunfights. In addition, Fabric Grip will provide better-aiming stability and movement stats.
M1941 Hand Stop is a must as the gun has pretty high recoil. Lengthened ammo type provides increased bullet velocity while Quick perk increases mobility, making the player light on their feet when wielding the weapon. On top of that, Acrobatic increases fire speed while sprinting with better hip-fire accuracy.
As for the magazine, the 2x54mm 60 Round Drums will do wonders with this gun increasing the initial ammo capacity. With the fire rate, the weapon runs out of ammo faster while using the standard magazine that comes with the gun. This loadout makes it an aggressive AR that complements rush and sniper playstyles. As a result, Vargo-S will be viable in mid to long-range gunfights.
Best Equipment & Perks for Vargo-S Loadout
- Secondary: Marco 5 (Vanguard) or HDR (Modern Warfare)
- Tactical: Stim (Modern Warfare), or Heartbeat Sensor (Modern Warfare)
- Lethal: Throwing knives (Modern Warfare), or Claymore (Modern Warfare)
- Perk – 1: Quick Fix, or E.O.D
- Perk – 2: Overkill
- Perk – 3: Amped, or Combat Scout
Quick Fix is the ideal perk for players constantly engaging in gunfights, enabling health regeneration when an enemy is killed. Opting for E.O.D. is also feasible to take less damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.
Overkill as the second perk is a must, as players can carry an extra primary weapon in the secondary slot. Pairing Marco 5 or HDR with this AR will make the loadout more potent, and the secondary will help to handle both mid to long-range gunfights easily. Our HDR loadout focuses on a long-range DMR. build.
To swap between the weapons faster, Amped is the go-to option. Faster switching between weapons will help in getting an edge over other players. Combat scout briefly highlights the whole team when an enemy player is shot.
As for tactical, stim gives an instant health regeneration upon use. The Heartbeat sensor can help track other players roaming nearby and plan the next gunfight tactics. Throwing knives as lethal can be a backup in a close gunfight. It has a one-hit-kill potential on players with a minimal level of armor.
Moreover, immediately throwing a knife will eliminate the player regardless of the range it’s thrown from after downing a player. However, Claymore can be used instead of throwing knives to watch flank when stationary.
