Are you searching for the best RPK loadout to use in Warzone 2.0? Don’t worry as we guide you through the perfect loadout with the optimal setup for dominating the terrains of Al Mazrah.

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has been a massive success worldwide. The direct sequel to Warzone Caldera, Warzone 2.0 features guns, equipment, and game mechanics from MW2. There are 67 weapons in MW2, which are also present in its BR counterpart.

Among the 67 weapons, 6 of them are LMGs. Warzone 2.0’s largest map in CoD history makes it a perfect playing ground for LMGs. From the LMG class, the RPK has found a firm place in the meta. The Kastov LMG is one of the most used weapons in most Warzone 2.0 tournaments and lobbies.

The RPK is a drum-fed LMG that is based on the Kastov platform. The hard-hitting LMG is the strongest variant of the Kastov platform. Furthermore, since the launch of Warzone 2.0, it has quickly earned its place as the best-performing gun in the meta.

How to Unlock the RPK in Warzone 2.0

The RPK is available after leveling up Kastov 762 to level 16 in CoD: Warzone 2, but that doesn’t ensure everything connected to the weapon will also be unlocked. To unlock some of the better attachments for the weapon, players will have to level up their rank with the RPK as players would with any other gun in Call of Duty games.

To rank up RPK, keep playing Warzone 2 when it is equipped. While the RPK will always gain a constant flow of XP while equipped, players can speed up the process by using it to slay enemies, take down killstreaks, and complete contracts. And they will gain even more weapon XP for the RPK if they activate a weapon-oriented XP token before a Warzone 2 match begins.

Best Equipment & Perks for RPK Loadout

Equipment

  • Tactical: Stim
  • Lethal: Semtex

Stim is a widely used tactical capable of providing instant heals, which can be life-saving in clutch situations. On the other hand, semtex is an excellent lethal that can serve as a breaching impact and flush out other players from cover.

Perk Package – Weapon Specialist

  • Base Perk -1: Overkill
  • Base Perk -2: Strong Arm
  • Bonus Perk: Spotter
  • Ultimate Perk: Survivor

The weapon specialist package is excellent for calm and calculated players. The base perks are Overkill and Strong Arm. Strong Arm grants players a stronger projectile-throwing power with a preview of the trajectory, while Overkill allows them to carry two primary weapons.

Furthermore, for the bonus perk, players can use Spotter, which spots enemy equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. Lastly, the ultimate perk is Survivor, which acts as a self-revive but in the form of a perk.

All the Latest RPK Buffs and Nerfs

The RPK did not receive any buffs or nerfs, as it has been recently added to the game. The current state of the weapon is balanced, according to many players within the CoD community. If the situation arises, the gun might get more tweaks in future updates to make it more balanced.

All the ARs from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 are different. They all excel in their fields depending on the build. Furthermore, the exact placement of the weapon in the current meta can be determined in the coming weeks as more players get their hands on the gun.

Other Alternatives to the RPK in the Current Meta

Other alternatives to the RPK are Kastov-74u (AR), M4 (AR), and TAQ 56 (AR). TAQ 56 is one of the most powerful guns in Warzone 2’s current meta. As time progresses, more weapons will gain a stronger position in the meta.
