The NZ-41 is currently one of the most effective Assault Rifles from Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapon pool. Here’s a step-by-step tutorial to create the best loadout for NZ-41 in Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded update.
The NZ-41 is the most popular Assault Rifle in the Warzone meta, and it’s a terrific pick for anyone looking for a reliable option, primarily due to its efficiency. It’s devastating at nearly any range and fires quickly, drawing parallels to STG44.
The NZ-41 has the best time to kill in the Assault Rifle category, and the weapon is easy to use with a high fire rate. Low recoil and its fire class-leading rate have made this Assault Rifle an absolute powerhouse capable of easily dominating mid to long-range engagements.
The weapon was buffed and nerfed simultaneously with the Warzone Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune update. As of writing, the weapon is the strongest A.R. in the game, taking away the throne from STG44. Also, NZ-41’s most attachments were buffed, reducing its recoil significantly.

How to unlock the NZ-41 in CoD Warzone
The NZ-41 is part of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapon pool. It is an Assault Rifle (A.R.), an unlockable weapon available after reaching level 41. It is part of the post-launch weapon line available to all players from day one. Most players will have the gun unlocked by playing a few Warzone matches.
The best tip for leveling up in Call of Duty: Warzone is to spend more time in-game. The experience (XP) system in Warzone is pretty straightforward. The more time you spend in-game, the more XP you will gain. Additionally, completing daily and weekly challenges will provide extra XP, which will be helpful to level it up faster. After unlocking and leveling it up quickly, players can choose from various attachments.
Best NZ-41 Loadout
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: L.O.R. Mk1 Burst
- Optic: M38/Slate 2.5x Custom
- Stock: Orbweaver E Pack
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strifed Angled
- Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 50 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
- Perk 1: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
The L.O.R. Mk1 Burst increases NZ-41’s bullet velocity, overall range, and accuracy. Most players will not shoot without aiming down the sights, so the decrease in hip fire accuracy is not a big problem. By equipping the Slate 2.5x Custom, players can acquire more precision and recoil control at the expense of aim down sight speed.
Another feature players might want to improve with the NZ-41 is the number of bullets they can shoot before reloading. That’s where the 6.5mm Sakura 50 Round Mags enter the picture. However, players’ aim-down sights speed, movement speed, and reload speed will decrease in exchange for the extra bullets. They can also increase the velocity of every bullet by inserting Lengthened into the ammunition slot, and because there are no disadvantages, it’s a perfect combination.
Fully Loaded is a perfect fit here as it provides the most ammunition, especially when combined with the Sakura 75 Round Drums. The second perk must be the Tight Grip, which improves accuracy and recoil control while firing continuously.
After equipping the MX Silencer, players will gain sound suppression, additional accuracy buffs, and a faster aim-down sight speed. The Orbweaver E Pack is helpful if players strafe while aiming and provides a significant boost to recoil control during the first few rounds.
Like every Assault Rifle, the rear grip for NZ-41 should be the Stippled Grip. It provides flinch resistance, recoil stability, and accuracy during a sustained fire with no additional debuffs. Paired with the Orbweaver E Pack, this Assualt Rifle will become more manageable in the recoil department. Players can also use the M1930 Strifed Angled for extra recoil control buffs, and there are no noticeable downsides because they are not using this weapon for its hip-fire accuracy.
Best Equipment and Perks for NZ-41 Loadout
- Secondary: Owen Gun (Vanguard) or Kar98k (Modern Warfare)
- Tactical: Stim (Modern Warfare), or Heartbeat Sensor (Modern Warfare)
- Lethal: Throwing knives (Modern Warfare), or Claymore (Modern Warfare)
- Perk – 1: Quick Fix, or E.O.D
- Perk – 2: Overkill
- Perk – 3: Amped, or Combat Scout
Quick Fix is the ideal perk for players constantly engaging in gunfights, enabling health regeneration when an enemy is killed. Opting for E.O.D. is also feasible to take less damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.
Overkill as the second perk is a must; players can carry an extra primary weapon in the secondary slot. Pairing Owen Gun or Kar98k with this A.R. will make the loadout more potent, and the secondary will help handle both mid to close-range gunfights with ease. Our Owen Gun loadout focuses on a close-range S.M.G. build.
To swap between the weapons faster, Amped is the go-to. Faster switching between weapons will help in getting an edge over other players. Combat scout briefly highlights the whole team when an enemy player is shot.
As for tactical, stim gives an instant health regeneration upon use. The Heartbeat sensor can help track other players roaming nearby and help plan the next move. Throwing knives as lethal can be a backup in a close gunfight. It has a one-shot potential on players with a minimal level of armor. Moreover, immediately throwing a knife will eliminate the player regardless of the range it’s thrown from after downing a player. Claymore can be used instead of throwing knives to watch flank when stationary.
