Best Krig 6 Loadout for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded

Krig 6 is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s most versatile Assault Rifle. Here’s an in-depth guide on how to create the best loadout for Kirg 6 in Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded.

Krig is an Assault Rifle with similar qualities as the FAL from Modern Warfare (2019). Both guns have excellent damage outputs. However, a slightly faster fire rate makes the Krig 6 different from the FAL. The faster fire rate does make the Krig 6 a good choice for players to use in Warzone. It is an excellent pick for players to dominate long-range gunfights.

Unsurprisingly, the Krig has the second-highest pick rate amongst all the Assault Rifles from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s weapon pool. The weapon was added into the game with the day one weapon pool update. Later, the gun was integrated into Warzone with the integration of the Black Ops Cold War (2020).

The gun was a popular A.R. in Cold War multiplayer. Unsurprisingly, the weapon gained the same popularity in Warzone. It is an excellent long-range beamer with the optimal build. Krig 6 had been a powerhouse for quite some time, allowing skilled players to eliminate enemies almost instantly. In a major update last year, Raven Software slightly reduced some key statistics of the weapons, lowering it from an instant kill weapon to a deadly weapon only in the right hands.

How to unlock the Krig 6 in CoD Warzone

The Krig 6 is part of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s weapon pool. It is an Assault Rifle (A.R.), an unlockable weapon available after reaching level 16. It is part of the post-launch weapon line available to all players from day one. Most players will have the gun unlocked by joining a Warzone match.

The best tip for leveling up in Call of Duty: Warzone is to spend more time in-game. The experience (XP) system in Warzone is pretty straightforward. The more time you spend in-game, the more XP you will gain. Additionally, completing daily and weekly challenges will provide extra XP, which will be helpful to level it up faster. After unlocking and leveling it up quickly, players can choose from various attachments.

Best Krig 6 Loadout

Muzzle: Agency Suppressor

Barrel: 19.7″ Takedown

Optic: Axial Arms 3x

Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip

Magazine: Salvo 60 Rnd Fast Mags

The agency suppressor improves recoil control and provides added suppression to the Krig 6. Axial Arms 3x is an optic with 3x magnification that will provide clear vision in mid-range to long-range gunfights with the Assault Rifle. The 19.7″ Takedown barrel provides more bullet velocity with an added damage range, making taking long-range gunfights easier.

The field agent grip is the best underbarrel for the weapon. The grip helps in controlling the recoil, making it easier to beam players in long-range gunfights. As for the magazine, the Salvo 60 Round Fast Mags increases the initial ammo capacity. This loadout makes it an aggressive A.R. that complements rush and sniper playstyles. Krig 6 will be viable in long-range and very good at mid-range fights.

Best Equipment & Perks for Krig 6 Loadout

  • Secondary: MP40 (Vanguard) or Kar98k (Modern Warfare)
  • Tactical: Stim (Modern Warfare), or Heartbeat Sensor (Modern Warfare)
  • Lethal: Throwing knives (Modern Warfare), or Claymore (Modern Warfare)
  • Perk – 1: Quick Fix, or E.O.D
  • Perk – 2: Overkill
  • Perk – 3: Amped, or Combat Scout

Quick Fix is the ideal perk for players constantly engaging in gunfights, enabling health regeneration when an enemy is killed. Opting for E.O.D. is also feasible to take less damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.

Overkill as the second perk is a must; players can carry an extra primary weapon in the secondary slot. Pairing MP40 or Kar98k with this A.R. will make the loadout more potent, and the secondary will help in handling both mid to close-range gunfights with ease. Our MP40 loadout focuses on a close-range S.M.G. build.

To swap between the weapons faster, Amped is the go-to. Faster switching between weapons will help in getting an edge over other players. Combat scout briefly highlights the whole team when an enemy player is shot.

As for tactical, stim gives an instant health regeneration upon use. The Heartbeat sensor can help track other players roaming nearby and plan the next gunfight strategy. Throwing knives as lethal can be a backup in a close gunfight; it has a one-shot potential on players with a minimal level of armor.

Moreover, after downing a player, immediately throwing a knife will eliminate the player regardless of the range it’s thrown from. Claymore can be opted out for throwing knives to watch flank when stationary.

All the latest Krig 6 Buffs & Nerfs

Krig 6 had a high pick rate besides the XM4 due to its capability to dominate long-range gunfights. With the launch of Cold War Season 5 Reloaded, these two guns dominated the long-range meta while other Assault Rifles and L.M.G.s struggled to even compete.

The weapon was significantly nerfed with the September 15, 2021 update. The neck damage multiplier of the gun was decreased, making it a little weak in long-range gunfights compared to its peak form. The nerf decreased its popularity. However, it is still one of the most picked Assault Rifles in the Cold War’s weapon pool.
