Shield of Ysgramor can be a great addition to your fighter build. You can get this shield if you prefer to combat with 1H-type weapons. This shield in Skyrim holds some good enchantmentes like increasing Magic resistance by 20% and increasing Health by 20.
You can get this shield during the Glory of the Dead quest. You will find this item in the last chest of Ysgramor’s Tomb.

The Glass Armor is one of the best light armors in the game and one you can easily get your hands on. You can craft the glass armor yourself. Glass armor can also be purchased from the blacksmiths or merchants in the game.
You can get a Glass Armor as loot from the chests or enemy drops if you are lucky enough. Boss chests have a higher possibility of having a glass armor. After level 36, Thalmor soldiers and patrols will start wearing the Glass Armor. You can also pick it up from their bodies.
8. Dawnbreaker
Dawnbreaker is a one-handed weapon that can be a good choice for your fighter character. There is only one way to get the Dawnbreaker. You will have to first complete “The Break of Dawn” quest. You will receive the Dawnbreaker sword as a reward from the Daedric Prince Meridia after completing the quest. The base damage of this sword is 12, and it deals an additional burn effect for 10 points.
7. Ebony Blade
The Ebony Blade is a two-handed weapon in the game, making it a good choice for a fighter. The sword can absorb ten health points at its base level. However, by killing an ally, this health absorption can be increased by up to 30 points. Each ally killed will grant you 4 points of health absorption increase, and by killing ten allies, the power can be maximized.
This enchantment can be used as often as you want and won’t require recharging. The Ebony Blade can be obtained during “The Whispering Door’ quest after you have asked Hulda about the rumors. However, the quest cannot be performed if Ysolda has already killed Hulda.
6. Dawnguard Rune Shield
The Dawnguard Rune Shield is a light shield but a very effective one. It can be paired with heavy armor and a light weapon to maximize its potential. The shield inflicts “+10 bash damage against vampires, and sustained blocking creates a minor sun shield doing 10 points of damage while draining the wielder’s stamina”.
You can get the shield during the “Lost Relic” quest, but the location might vary. This quest has several radiant locations from which you might get this shield. The locations are Ansilvund, Gloomreach, Haemar’s Shame, Harmugstahl, Stillborn Cave, and Yngvild.
5. Daedric Armor Set
The Daedric Armor is another heavy armor in the game. Though the Daedric weapons are less effective, the armor performs better than most other armor.
You will get the unenchanted version of the Daedric Armor after level 48, while the enchanted version of the armor appears at level 49. Armor can be found in boss chests. Some enemies, like the Revered or Legendary Dragons, can drop armor pieces as drops. You can also buy the armor from merchant Dremora.
5. Dragonplate Armor Set
The Dragonplate Armor is another heavy armor that you can find. This armor can be found as a loot item. After you have reached level 40, this armor will start to appear in random chests and containers.
However, if you have the Dragon Armor perk, you can get the armor before reaching level 40. But the enchanted armor pieces won’t appear before you reach level 41. Though Daedric Armor has a better armor rating than Dragonplate armor, due to its lower weight and better mobility, we have ranked it higher than the Daedric Armor.

The Konahrik mask is one of the most powerful masks that you can find in Skyrim. The mask looks pretty cool when equipped, and it also has enough stats to sustain damage from enemies. Its additional effects enable it to heal the wearer when his health is low while also damaging nearby enemies.
However, getting the Konahrik mask can be a bit of a hassle. You will have to first collect all eight dragon priest masks. Once you have them all, head inside the Bromjunaar Sanctuary. Inside the Sanctuary, you will find a wooden mask that will make you time travel to when the Sanctuary was not destroyed yet.

1. Wuuthrad
The most powerful weapon to get for a fighter is the Wuuthrad. It is a two-handed battleaxe that can deal a base damage of 25. But considering it’s a battleaxe, the weight of this weapon is very low. This can be a huge advantage as a fighter to yield a heavy weapon and ensure you have enough mobility to move. It can deal 1.2x damage to the elves: Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, and Falmer.
You can get the Wuuthrad battle axe during the Glory of the Dead quest. During the quest, this battleaxe will be recreated by Eorlund using the fragments from the Silver Hand. The battleaxe will then create a passage within Tsgramor’s tomb. You can then collect the Wuuthrad from the statue without closing the passage.
