In this guide, we will be listing all the Electro characters currently available in Genshin Impact, and provide an opinionated ranking of them all based on their strength and other attributes.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG created by the Chinese videogame developer miHoYo. In Genshin Impact, players have to fight using both elemental magic and various types of weapons. Each character that players come across will use a specific form of elemental magic. Although the world of Genshin has seven elements, this guide will focus on players that draw their power from the Electro Archon Beelzebul.
As the name suggests, Electro Characters deal electric damage to their enemies. You can pair them with characters with other elemental affinities such as Cryo, Pyro, Hydro to create impressive elemental reactions. In this guide, we will be listing all the Electro characters you can obtain in Genshin Impact and rank them in tiers.
All Electro Characters in Genshin Impact
As of writing, Genshin Impact has introduced up to 8 playable Electro characters in 2021, with 1 upcoming Electro character announced to be on the way.
Beidou is a 4-star Electro character and Claymore user based in Liyue. She is the Captain of an armed fleet known as The Crux. Her Elemental Skill Tidecaller allows her to charge her greatsword with electricity before swinging it to electrocute her enemies. Not only that, but it also acts as a protective shield. Furthermore, her elemental burst is designed in such a way that the electrical discharge can jump off to another enemy if it hits a shielded target. She can be used as a main DPS during early adventures in the game or as a Sub DPS.
Fischl is another 4-star Electro character in Genshin Impact who uses a Bow as her primary weapon. She works as an investigator for the Adventurer’s Guild based in Mondstadt. Her Elemental Skill called Nightrider allows her to summon a dark, electro-charged raven named Oz that explodes and deals AoE Electro Damage to surrounding enemies. Moreover, her Elemental Burst gives her a great boost in mobility as she transforms herself into Oz, and explodes the same way to electrocute surrounding enemies. She can be used as the electro sub-DPS of your party.
Keqing is a 5-star Electro user and Sword-wielder. She is the Yuheng of the Seven Stars of Liyue, also known as the Liyue Qixing. Her Elemental Skill allows her to imbue her sword with a great surge of lightning that deals Electro Damage to multiple enemies within the reach of her sword’s swing. Moreover, it also leaves a Stiletto Mark on her enemy whom she can target and follow-up with thunder cuts again with ease. Moreover, with her elemental burst, she can move at the speed of lightning, cutting through the air in multiple places at once, dealing Electro damage in a large area of effect. She can be used as the main DPS of your team.
Kujou Sara is a 4-Star Electro character and Bow user in Genshin Impact. Her Elemental Skill is a defensive move, rather than an offensive one. It allows her to retreat from threat at the speed of lightning, as well as gain a Crowfeather Cover for 18 seconds, followed by an electro-charged shot. Her Elemental Burst allows her to call forth lightning strikes on the ground, dealing AoE Electro damage to enemies within the radius of the lightning strikes. She can either be used as the support or burst Sub-DPS of your team.
Lisa is another 4-star Electro character who uses a Catalyst as her choice of weapon. She is a powerful mage as well as the librarian for the Knights of Favonius in Mondstadt. Her Violet Arc Elemental Skill allows her to attack enemies over a large area of effect with a sweep of lightning. Moreover, she can also call forth a bolt of lightning to strike upon her enemies. Furthermore, through her Elemental Burst, she can strike down lightning across a large area.
Next, we have the Electro Archon herself, also known as Raiden Shogun or Baal. She is a 5-star character and Polearm user. While the real one mediates inside the Plane of Euthymia, players can explore the world of Teyvat through her puppet. Her Elemental Skill can both annihilate enemies with electro damage but also lend a helping hand to her allies when they attack enemies through coordinated electro attacks. Moreover, her elemental burst creates a powerful electric explosion that deals electro damage to enemies across a large area of effect. Moreover, her physical attacks will also be imbued with the Electro effect. She makes an excellent Support or Sub-DPS character, or also the electro DPS of your team.
Razor is a 4-star Electro character and a Claymore-wielder. His Claw and Thunder Elemental Skill allows him to gnaw enemies with an electro-imbued claw or call forth a lightning blast by smashing on the ground with his fist- dealing electro DMG to enemies within the blast radius. Moreover, through his Lightning Fang Elemental Burst, he can summon a wolf who claws away at surrounding enemies at enormous speed, dealing both Physical DMG and leaving them with an Electro-charged status.
Genshin Impact starts off with letting you choose which Traveller twin you want to play as when you start off the game. They are the main protagonist of the game and are the only playable characters that have multiple elemental affinities. Their Electro Elemental Skill allows them to strike enemies thrice with a swift thunder, dealing Electro damage. Moreover, their Elemental Burst creates a thunder blast that knocks surrounding enemies off their feet and deals Electro damage.

In terms of attack power, health and defence, Keqing takes the cake among all other Electro characters in this list. Furthermore, she can move or rather teleport across the battlefield at incredible speed, dealing both physical and electro damage to multiple enemies at once.
Fischl is also an S tier Electro character with high mobility. Her summoning of Oz gives players the agility they need to electrocute multiple enemies. This also allows them to use other Pyro, Cryo, or Hydro characters to create strong elemental reactions like Overloaded, Superconduct, or Electro-charged. Lastly, Baal is also an S-tier Sub-DPS or support character that can cooperate with other characters to create strong elemental reactions or provide battle support to her allies through her Eye of Stormy Judgment.
