B.A.R. is Vanguard’s most versatile Assault Rifle. Here’s an in-depth guide on creating the best loadout for B.A.R. in Warzone Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune Reloaded.
B.A.R. is an Assault Rifle with similar qualities to the P.K.M. from the latest Modern Warfare. Both guns have excellent damage outputs. However, the low recoil proficiency makes the B.A.R. different from the P.K.M. and it is a perfect pick for players to dominate medium to long-range gunfights.
Unsurprisingly, the B.A.R. has the highest damage output amongst all the Assault Rifles from Vanguard’s weapon pool. Moreover, long-range gunfights in the terrains of Caldera will be a walk in the park with the right build of this weapon.
At the start of Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune, the weapon received a slight nerf to a few of its attachments. However, the gun is currently rising through the ranks of Warzone meta once again. The weapon is viable in medium to long-range engagements, making it a versatile Weapon in any given situation.
How to unlock the B.A.R. in CoD Warzone
The B.A.R. is originally a part of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s weapon pool and was added to Warzone later on. It is an Assault Rifle (A.R.), an unlockable weapon, available after reaching level 25. Also, it is part of the post-launch weapon line available to all players from day one. Most players can have the gun unlocked by playing a few Warzone matches.
The best tip for leveling up in Call of Duty: Warzone is by spending more time in-game and earning XP. The experience (XP) system in Warzone is pretty straightforward. The more time you spend in-game, the more XP you will gain. Additionally, completing daily and weekly challenges will provide extra XP, which will be helpful to level it up faster. After unlocking and leveling it up quickly, players can choose from various attachments.
Best B.A.R. Loadout
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: C.G.C. 30″ XL
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: Cooper SP
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 8mm Klauser 40 Round Mags
- Ammunition: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
- Perk 1: Quick
- Perk 2: Acrobatic
Recoil booster and C.G.C. 30″ XL combine to reduce the recoil and sway of the B.A.R. with increased damage range. The SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x is an optic sight that will allow the B.A.R. to be effective in long-range gunfights while providing 3-6x magnification. In addition, Fabric Grip will provide better-aiming stability and movement stats.
M1941 Hand Stop is a must for low recoil and hip-fire builds. It helps in controlling the recoil with ease. Lengthened ammo type provides increased bullet velocity while Quick perk increases mobility, making the player light on their feet when wielding the weapon. On top of that, Acrobatic increases fire speed while sprinting with better hip-fire accuracy.
As for the magazine, the 8mm Klauser 40 Round Mags will do wonders with this gun increasing the initial ammo capacity. With the fire rate, the weapon runs out of ammo faster while using the standard magazine that comes with the gun. This loadout makes it an aggressive A.R. that complements rush and sniper playstyles. B.A.R. will be viable in mid-range and long-range gunfights.
Best Equipment & Perks for B.A.R. Loadout
- Secondary: Marco 5 (Vanguard) or HDR (Modern Warfare)
- Tactical: Stim (Modern Warfare), or Heartbeat Sensor (Modern Warfare)
- Lethal: Throwing knives (Modern Warfare), or Claymore (Modern Warfare)
- Perk – 1: Quick Fix, or E.O.D
- Perk – 2: Overkill
- Perk – 3: Amped, or Combat Scout
Quick Fix is the ideal perk for players constantly engaging in gunfights, enabling health regeneration when an enemy is killed. Opting for E.O.D. is also feasible to take less damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire.
Overkill as the second perk is a must, as players can carry an extra primary weapon in the secondary slot. Pairing Marco 5 or HDR with this A.R. will make the loadout more potent, and the secondary will help to handle both mid to long-range gunfights easily. Our HDR loadout focuses on a long-range D.M.R. build.
To swap between the weapons faster, Amped is the go-to option. Faster switching between weapons will help in getting an edge over other players. Combat scout briefly highlights the whole team when an enemy player is shot.
As for tactical, stim gives an instant health regeneration upon use. The Heartbeat sensor can help track other players roaming nearby and plan the next gunfight tactics. Throwing knives as lethal can be a backup in a close gunfight. It has a one-hit-kill potential on players with a minimal level of armor.
Moreover, immediately throwing a knife will eliminate the player regardless of the range it’s thrown from after downing a player. However, Claymore can be used instead of throwing knives to watch flank when stationary.
