Not a gameplay trailer, but Studio Wildcard showed us a cinematic trailer of a group of wanderers. And to everybody’s surprise, one of them was none other than Vin Diesel. Additionally, it is also confirmed that Vin Diesel is working on the game too.

Vin Diesel, also working as an executive producer of Ark 2 will be playing as Santiago. An integral character of the game’s story.

Ark 2 will be hitting shelves in 2022 and will be playable first by Xbox Series X and S owners. The Ark franchise has been on good terms with Xbox for a long time. The game was available on Xbox’s Early Access like program. In fact, Ark Survival Evolved is now available on Game Pass with a couple of expansions. The game also is one of the first to receive full optimization for next-gen Xbox. Hence, allowing players to enjoy a full PC like experience.

Ark: Survival Evolved developed by Studio Wildcard is one of the most popular and in-depth survival games. The game allows players to start from absolutely nothing like in the Stone Ages and then build towards a much more futuristic era.

Although the genre caters to a very niche player base, the over-saturation makes it hard for any game to persist for long. But the Ark series has been going strong ever since its release.

No gameplay is shown yet, but 2022 is still a long time. Let’s see how Ark 2 fares when it hits first on Xbox Series S|X exclusively at launch.
