The Apex Legends Switch Port release date was recently announced and quickly taken down on Apex Legends YouTube.

Apex Legends was confirmed to be coming to the Nintendo Switch last year with the release of the Steam version. But at the time, EA released a blog post describing their decision to delay the Switch version until 2021. Although the year 2021 was mentioned in the blog post, we did not have an official release date.

But that all changed when the Apex Legends YouTube’s Japanese version accidentally leaked the release date for the Switch port of Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Switch Port Release Date:

The Japanese version of YouTube accidentally listed the release date for the Switch port of Apex Legends. It seems that Apex Legends will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 2nd.

In the video’s description, there was a line of Japanese text that states, “And on February 2nd, it will be possible to play on Switch at the same time as the start of Season 8!”. This line of text was not available in the English version.

The line of text was quickly removed, confirming that it was revealed accidentally. Since it was removed shortly afterward, we cannot confirm the release date to remain unchanged as we have no official confirmation yet.

But most likely, the release date is going to be February 2 if everything remains the same. We will likely have to wait for an official confirmation from EA for the actual release date.
