The award winning multiplayer game of 2020 might be coming to console after all.

Among us had taken the world by storm back in August, and the player base is still increasing as we speak. During Game Awards 2020, they racked up two awards following their success. Furthermore, they might also be planning on releasing a console version as they already made some announcements on Twitter.

Innersloth announced among us way back in 2018, and the game did not have such a big fan base until this year. The game blew up suddenly out of nowhere after some popular Twitch streamers started playing it and thus began the journey of domination. The concurrent player count saw a massive boost, and it led them to win two awards in 2020.

Among Us console port

They announced a new map for Among Us in the game awards 2020, and fans have been craving for a console port ever since the announcement. Today on Twitter, they retweeted an old tweet saying ‘ok’ to a fan asking for a console version. This teaser on Twitter could potentially mean they might be releasing on consoles soon.

Among Us 2 was supposed to come out soon, but after seeing the massive response from the community, they decide against it. The developers said they will focus on Among Us more from now on. Moreover, they already released a version on Nintendo, so it would not be a surprise if they end up launching it on different consoles soon.
