A unique quirk of the Ranger is that you can combine their slow falling and Spin Kick to remain above ground for a long time.
The Ranger’s Talent is Ivy Canopy. This creates a temporary platform for players to stand on, which also blocks mid-sized projectiles. Additionally, standing on the platform grants your arrow, Spore Burst, an ability that causes enemies to explode after 1 second of being hit. Since the platform created has a magic-based hit, it can be used to open hidden walls.

Duelists wield a Saber to deal a lot of combo damage and stay nimble on their feet. They can perform lunge attacks, mid-air attacks, and a dodge roll that negates damage and inflicts damage to enemies. All these attacks can be combined to take down enemies with style quickly.
The Duelist’s Talent is the Combat Roll, and it has a 2-second cooldown and makes the character invincible while rolling. Furthermore, performing a Roll grants character Charged for 1 second, allowing for Critical hit attacks.

It sounds good, but Chef should be used by adept players as they are not too agile and have low health.

Unlock the Waiter alternate class from Soul Shop. The waiter starts with Bag o’ Spoons as a weapon and throws spoons that ricochet.
8. Bard
The Bard is an interesting class to play with. To play effectively with this class, you have to combine multiple attacks and passive at all times and dish out a lot of damage. Hence, Bard has a steep learning curve but is a great pick.
Obviously, the Bard uses a Lute which sends out musical notes. The notes hover in place for 3 seconds, and enemies within range get periodic damage. The damage is critical at the last second when the note becomes Golden. Furthermore, Spin Kicking notes cause them to explode, which does the most damage and also has knockback.
The Bard’s Talent is Crescendo, a shout that transforms projectiles into Roses, which also explodes with Spin Kick. Crescendo has a 12-second Cooldown.

The Assassin is one of the top-tier classes in Rogue Legacy 2. Assassin boasts a range of attacks and abilities that makes the enemies look helpless, no matter how strong they are. Assassins have great speed, attack, and mana. Moreover, combining these with other skills makes them one of the best.
Assassin’s Dual Blades attack three times, with the third hit being a Skill Crit. Additionally, the third hit also reduces Talent cooldowns. This goes seamlessly with the Assassin Talent.
Their Talent is Obscura, which covers you in a dark cloak, makes you invisible for 3 seconds, and raises your speed by 50%. Striking enemies while using Obscure makes inflicts Invulnerable but also removes invisibility.
Passive: Eagle Eye. Eagle Eye grants a 10% Super Critical hit chance, which gives you an opportunity to blow tremendous damage.

10. Gunslinger
Gunslinger uses a Kinetic Revolver that can rapid-fire. The last eight bullets will be critical attacks; hence even normal attack damage output is very high. However, you have to reload your gun manually. You can also hover mid-air while shooting to line your shots better, much like the Ranger.
Gunslinger’s Talent is Makeshift Explosive. This explosive drops multiple dynamites that explode gloriously in an X pattern. The damage scales with Intelligence, and the perfect angle can do double damage. MakeShift Explosive can be used twice before a cooldown of 8 seconds is needed.
Passive: Gunslinger’s Passive is Suave. Sauve lets your weapon deal additional damage equal to 15% of Intelligence. Hence, the best way to play with Gunslinger is to have high Intelligence.

11. Boxer
The Boxer lays down multiple punches in a very short time, which also increases attack power with each hit. Boxer uses Boxing Gloves to rapidly punch enemies, which can be done while dashing and jumping. Furthermore, every hit stacks Combo to the player. The combo is a special trait that increases damage output by 2%.
The best part is that Combo can be stacked up to 30 times, and at the 15th hit, all attacks become critical. Hence, The boxer’s standard attack alone is stronger than most classes. Lastly, you can also perform an uppercut by holding UP while attacking.
Boxer’s Talent, Knockout Punch, is an AoE attack of a small radius, but it is capable of destroying projectiles and pushing away enemies. Combining this with its standard attack makes some hard-hitting attacks.
Passive: Deft. Boxer’s Deft lets him pass through enemies that are not attacking.
Stats:
Wpn. Dmg | Strength * 0.35 * (1 + Combo * 0.02) |

Boxer Alternate Class: Enkindled Boxers
They start with Enkindled Gauntlets, and these Gauntlets can shoot rocket fists that explode.
12. Ronin
Ronin is one of the strongest classes in the game. Some might say it is the strongest. Thanks to its variation of attacks, Ronin wields a long-range Katana and can also attack at angles that strike through walls and ceilings, but it also has a long attack recovery. During recovery, jump or dash to quickly gain your attacks back. Another downside is that the Katana has a slow mana recovery. So you are better off focusing on melee attacks.
Ronin’s Talent, The Immortal Kotetsu, is very useful and powerful. It is a long-range dash attack that teleports Ronin in a straight line and damages greatly everything in the path. Even though it has a 5-second cooldown, killing with this ability instantly resets Kotetsu. Helping you to rapidly takedown large crowds of foes.
Ronin is a powerful Class, but we advise players to get used to the combat of this game before picking this since it has low health and an average mana capacity.
Passive: Lone Traveler. This Passive skill grants 20% damage to all types of attacks.
Stats:
Max. HP | Vitality * 6 + 100 |
Max. MP | 150 |
Wpn. Damage | Strength * 2 |
Mana on Hit | 10 |
Immortal Kotetsu Damage | Intelligence * 2.25 |
13. Dragon Lancer
The Dragon Lancer is a well-balanced class. It has great attacking capabilities with a good range as well as high defense and shielding abilities. In fact, they also have high health and mana.
They use a Charge Lance, which attacks covering a good length. The secondary attack of the Lance is the Flying Joust. This launches the Lancer forward, dealing area damage when hitting an enemy, therefore can be used to attack multiple enemies at a time. Flying Joust can be steered and canceled with Spin Kicks or double jumps.
Combine this with Dragon Lancer’s Talent: Bastion makes this class literally unstoppable. Bastion summons a shield that blocks projectiles and knocks back enemies—even inflicting small damage.
Passive: Armored. Gains 20% Armor.
Stats:
Max. HP | Vitality * 10 + 100 |
Max. MP | 125 |
Wpn. Dmg | Strength * 2 |

Mana on Hit (Flying Joust) | 20 |
Bastion Tick Damage | Intelligence * 0.6 |
14. Astromancer
The Astromancer is an advanced form of the Mage and a new addition to the game. It has way less health compared to the Mage, but in terms of magic power, Astromancer is the best.
The Astromancer uses the Celestial Sceptre to create black holes that deal damage over time to anyone caught in it. Both the damage and the rate of hits are also very high. Each black hole may hit up to 25 times, depending on where it is cast. Since Astromancer has high mana, you can keep on summoning blackholes and spells.
Astromancer’s talent, Comet Form, allows them to fly, gain increased speed, and damage immunity. You can fly through enemies, damaging them up to 10 times. It has a short duration of about 1.5 seconds. So use it wisely.
Passive: Grand Vision. Grand Vision increases Intelligence by 20%, and all damages recover Mana. You can essentially keep on attacking forever using this passive skill.
Stats:
Max. HP | Vitality * 6 + 100 |

The melee attack pushes away enemies, which can be combo-ed by firing the cannon and them.
The Pirate’s Talent is the Pirate Ship. A Pirate Ship is summoned, which you can ride and shoot powerful cannons from it. Additionally, you can also launch the Ship forward, which then explodes on contact with anything. Enemies hit will get Burn. The Talent itself stays for a long time, 8 seconds. The Pirate is still a new Class, so as time goes more tricks and techniques will be discovered. Till now, the Pirate is a viable choice for its special attacks.
Passive: Cheap Shot. Cheap Shot increases Spell Critical Damage and Weapon Damage by 10%.
