US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently sent out a tweet that almost broke the internet. She asked to play Among Us with her on Twitch and Pokimane and Hasanabi are the two who are confirmed till now.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or more commonly known as her initials AOC is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district. Taking office at age 29, Ocasio-Cortez is the youngest woman ever to serve in the United States Congress. She has been noted for her substantial social media presence and seems like her popularity online will only increase with her recent actions.
Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game developed and published by American game studio InnerSloth. While initially released in 2018 to little mainstream attention, it received an influx of popularity in 2020 due to many well-known Twitch streamers and YouTubers playing it.

Pokimane and Hasanabi Confirmed:
AOC recently sent out a tweet asking if anyone was interested to play Among Us with her on Twitch. Her exact words,” Anyone want to play Among Us with me on Twitch to get out the vote? (I’ve never played but it looks like a lot of fun)”.
The post got more than 6k replies and 331k likes on Twitter. Many Streamers replied saying they wanted to play with AOC. One of the replies was from Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys. She replied saying,” it’d be an honor”.
AOC notified Pokimane that she would be setting up an account and also getting some streaming equipment. She said,” Let’s do it! I’ll set up an account and get some streaming equipment today”.
We also have another player for the AOC Among Us stream and it seems to be Hasanabi. Hasan replied to the post made by AOC saying, “we’re already making a lobby” to which AOC replied,” Just DMd you. This sounds fun, let’s do it”.
So it seems like at this point only Pokimane and Hasanabi are the only streamers who are confirmed for the AOC Among Us stream. Keep and eye out on our website for more updates
