Riot has created a lot of amazing skins over the years in League of Legends. But unfortunately, some skins are just awful.
League has been around for more than 13 years. And according to League of Legends Wiki, currently, there are 1338 skins in total. This number is constantly growing with each patch. A lot of the skins are simply outstanding in design and looks. But it is not easy to create so many skins for such a long time without messing up from time to time.
Riot has created some truly atrocious skins over the years. To be fair, most of the bad skins are older, and Riot has fixed up quite a few of them. 5. Nosferatu Vladimir

What a monstrosity! Everything about this skin looks awful. Despite the price being so high, this skin has no new animation or VFX/SFX effects. It is just a different character design from the classic skin of Vladimir. But the classic skin looks far better than this.
4. Shamrock Malphite
- Release Date: March 16, 2010
- Price: 520 RP
Shamrock Malphite is just a greenish chroma of the Cassic Malphite skin. It doesn’t add anything, no animations, no effects. Now, why would you spend 520 RP for something even uglier than his classic skin? It’s just a waste of money.
3. Black Belt Udyr
- Release Date: July 18, 2010
- Price: 520 RP
Riot updated the splash art of this skin, but the in-game model still looks horrible. You guessed it, nothing new to the skin other than the character model. The classic Udyr’s character model is nothing to brag about, but this skin doesn’t make it any better. Hopefully, with the Udyr rework scheduled soon by Riot, these skin will finally see some love.
2. Swamp Master Kennen
- Release Date: April 08, 2010
- Price: 520 RP
Believe it or not, this is an updated splash art. This is another skin that will now be only considered as a chroma. Kennen has another skin like this named ‘Deadly Kennen.’ Both of these skins are basically just a recolor of the character model, not even a new model.

- Release Date: January 13, 2010
- Price: 390 RP
390 RP is the cheapest a skin can get in League. But still, this skin is not worth the RP. A Golden Cow? What were Riot thinking? His base skin is 10 times better than this. That’s why this skin makes it to the top of our list. And new animations and effects, well, you know the answer to that.
